According to the EPA, the combined use of filtration and germicidal UVC light is an effective means of preventing the distribution of airborne viruses in occupied spaces.
With ultraviolet light, micro-watts translate to effectiveness. BioForce Defender 16” UVC lamps produce a very high output of 180 microwatts @ 1 meter, which is 330% higher than standard UVC lamps on the market. BioForce Defender 12” UVC lamps produce 150 microwatts @ 1 meter.

ECONOMY REMOTE UVC

The Economy Remote UVC Germicidal Lamp is a coil irradiation UVC unit that installs directly into the cooling coil of a central heating and cooling system. The 14" lamp produces an output of 55 microwatts @ 1 meter to kill biological growth on the coil and other surfaces that make contact. According to the EPA, the combined use of filtration and germicidal UVC light is an effective means of preventing the distribution of airborne pathogens in occupied spaces. Keeps coils free from biological growth, bacteria, and viruses, and prevents their spread throughout the home.

BYPASS HEPA SYSTEMS

High-Efficiency Particulate Arrestance (HEPA) filters are among the best filters on the market today. HEPA filters were originally developed by the Atomic Energy Commission during World War II to remove hazardous radioactive dust from manufacturing plant exhausts. In order to receive a HEPA filter designation, a filter must collect 99.97% of a specific particulate that measures 0.3 microns in size, in tests established by the Institute of Environmental Sciences. Most homeowners are unaware of the dangers lurking within their heating and cooling system. The dark damp environment is a perfect breeding ground for mold, bacteria, and water-borne micro-organisms. Inside your HVAC system, there is an indoor cooling coil that pulls the humidity from the air and cools it to make you comfortable in the summertime.
